feed the artist installation
In “Adopt the artist” installation I’m portraying six fellow resident artist including myself wearing fur coats on a background of supersaturated american dollars. It is not animal rights protest it’s more human well artist rights manifestation. In a playful manner I’m revisiting archaic concept of money for art or art for money, stereotypes of hungry artist and artist whore.
Feed the artist, pet the artist so it becomes your prostitute, your pet, your chicken that lays golden or any color you dream of eggs.
Put the fur on to play, to adopt the identity of art animal, to be a creative part of this installation.
Buy art to make the artist happy.
